Carlisle-based web design and marketing agency Colourmedia has merged with award-winning Penrith design business G1 Creative to create a fully integrated digital agency.

The merger with G1 Creative increases Colourmedia’s ability to offer a wider range of custom design related services alongside their core web services, which includes web design and development, online marketing, search engine optimisation and social media management. They will now be accompanied by a complete creative design package including logo and branding, design for print – literature, stationery, packaging design production, photography.

G1 Creative director Gary Lawson has worked on a diverse range of projects across a variety of sectors over his 30 year career in the creative sector and has won several National Recommended Agency Register Awards. He said:

“This is an exciting opportunity for G1 and its clients. The digital sector is moving ever faster, we need to be able to deliver end to end creative work backed by strategic digital marketing and web development expertise. E-commerce is growing, mobile use is up year on year, with everything under one roof we are in a great position going forward.”

Director of Colourmedia Chris Marshall added:

The company is now operating with a team of ten employees from varying backgrounds and disciplines and they have plans to increase this in the coming weeks. They are currently seeking a web developer to join their team.
